On this 5 night excursion you'll experience everything Belize has to offer.  Encounter some of the most captivating landscapes in Central America, come face to face with the vibrant local culture and traditions, see wildlife up close and uninhibited, and even gaze endlessly at the stars.  Belize is known for it's incredibly dynamic environment.  From sandy beaches to the luscious rainforests, this is a photographer's paradise!  With such a variety of subject matter, it's hard to choose what to focus on.  But on our Belize Photography Excursion we'll take you on a "greatest hits" of photographic opportunities.  Between the jungle's uneven lighting conditions at local Mayan ruins, practicing patience while photographing insects in the botanical gardens, and many other exciting opportunities, this excursion will challenge you to grow as a photographer!

This trip includes 4 Photography workshops (2 off-site and 2 on-site) and 1 Adventure activity of your choice - hosted by the Caves Branch.  Each day we will all meet at Breakfast in the morning.  After breakfast we will have a short overview of the day, then head to the photography workshop.  For off-site workshops, transportation is provided.  Once our workshop is completed everyone will have some downtime at the lodge to relax.  We will all meet up again during dinner to visit and collectively vote for the workshop for the next day.  In addition, once per day we meet together to have feedback and editing sessions.  This is a great way to show off what you shot for the day, as well as help others who have questions.  It will also give you an opportunity to get a head start on editing before you get home!

During the trip we will be staying in the Mayan Rainforest at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch.  This is no ordinary hotel; Caves Branch is much more than that! Technically considered a Jungle Lodge, it boasts rooms that make you feel a part of nature.  With lush greenery surrounding your room giving you unbridled privacy, and screened-in walls that are open to the elements so you can hear the birds and feel the cool jungle air, this is a one-of-a-kind experience that you won't soon forget.

All meals, drinks, as well as local beers and most local spirits are included in your package!  But don't assume meals are just restaurant food at Caves Branch!  Meals are more like gatherings where you can come together with others, build relationships, and talk about the amazing things you did during the day.  For us, this is a great time to share photography techniques, or maybe even meet other guests staying at the hotel.

All rooms are double occupancy, with an option to pay for a single room if you choose.  Our standard room is a Jungle Cabana, with the option to upgrade if you choose.
